Sky Post's Madogashi Wright makes the Broadcast Hot Shot List 2025

Broadcast have published their Hot Shots list for 2025, an annual round-up of the industry's rising stars, and Sky Post Production are absolutely thrilled that Jahreal Madogashi Wright has been included in the Post & Craft category. It's no mean feat making it down to the final list of names in each division and this year there were 280 applicants across the various categories which is the most ever.
Jahreal's rise has been meteoric. Having joined our Edit Operations Team from the MAMA Youth organisation, he rose rapidly meeting every challenge thrown at him and diligently worked through our structured programme to reach senior status. With the world of Post Production at his feet, he then chose to join our User Support Team and quickly made a name for himself, picking up the RTS Young Technologist of the Year Award and the Young Talent of the Year (Technical) Award at the Broadcast Tech Innovation Awards, both in 2022.

Definitely not his first rodeo. Jahreal is more than used to gaining industry plaudits with dual wins in 2022 from both RTS and Broadcast.
We asked MAMA Youth CEO, Bob Clarke for his thoughts on Jahreal's career to date:
‘Jahreal was a trainee editor with MAMA Youth Project in 2017. He completed our 12-week, full-time boot camp with flying colours. We are so proud of his achievements and the awards. He absolutely deserves the industry recognition he is receiving. There is still so much more to come.’
Since joining Sky, Jahreal has made the most of every opportunity, impressing Director of Post Production, Adam Downey, in particular:
'Jahreal is a pleasure to work with and a source of pride for the whole department. Having joined our trainee scheme from MAMA Youth, Jahreal was given a fantastic grounding in the fundamentals of Post Production and worked extremely hard to progress his way up to where he finds himself now, working on new technical solutions and adoptions to benefit all our clients, from the Premier League and F1 to Mr Bigstuff and beyond. His is an incredible journey that is a true pleasure to watch. His thirst for knowledge and his can-do attitude point to even greater success in the future.’

Congratulations to Jahreal from everyone in Sky Post!
