Meet The Editors: David Graham

David Graham is a highly skilled video editor at Sky Production Services (SPS) with more than 13 years’ experience. Currently, David works on Sport and Entertainment, including high profile projects like Premier League and EFL football, as well as popular series such as ‘Ant Middleton: Straight Talking’ and ‘So Beano’.

Since joining SPS, his area of expertise has been motion graphic design on short-form productions (openers/closers, explainers, title sequences), and worked across 3D design and visual effects. One of his most notable recent projects was Sky Sports’ ‘On The Day’ stings for the 2021-22 season of the EFL Championship. Used in the build-up to each match, David was able to fulfil a long-term ambition of using cinema 4D to create 3D motion graphics.

Starting his career as a VT Operator/Avid Assistant at a Post Production facility, David found his way to Sky with the help of a bit of luck. While volunteering to help cut a charity promo to gain experience, a producer discovered an online advert for a Trainee Editor and recommended he applied for the role. Despite missing the call offering him the job, he secured the position and now, David is one of SPS’ most accomplished and in-demand editors.
