Michael Dufour is an exceptionally accomplished video editor at Sky Production Services (SPS) with 17 years’ experience. He currently works across Entertainment and Sport, with blockbuster projects including Premier League football, the launch of Sky Atlantic’s thrilling drama ‘Riviera’, as well as popular series such as ‘Redknapp’s Home Fixture’.

In over 2 decades at SPS, he has specialised in onlining and offline storytelling, and worked in several other areas including motion graphics. Two of Michael’s recent standout projects were Sky Sports’ ‘100^th Black Player to Represent England’ landmark VT, where his GFX work played a pivotal role in identifying players, and ‘The 80s: Cinema's Greatest Decade’ project. Offering the chance to reminisce about the movies that shaped his childhood, ‘The 80s: Cinema's Greatest Decade’ also provided Michael the opportunity to create the look and feel of the show, which he achieved through his offline and green screen motion graphics work.

Entering Sky as a Sports Archivist in 1999, Michael spent his first few years providing tapes to various departments to cut their features. Soon after he developed an interest in how these features were being made and heeded advice to apply for a Trainee Editor role. 22 years later, Michael is now one of SPS’ top-tier and most experienced editors.
